The Université de Perpignan Via Domitia is involved in numerous cross-border, European and international collaborative projects, approved by the European Commission through various funding programmes in the field of higher education and research.


Cross-border collaborative projects

Transfrontera is a website for promoting cross-border collaborative projects involving teams from the UPVD (Université de Perpignan Via Domitia). Through various projects, the University has been participating in the Interreg POCTEFA programme (Operational Programme for Territorial Cooperation between Spain, France and Andorra) for over 20 years. As such, it is a key player in Pyrenean cross-border geopolitics and European integration.

Title: CWCN - Master Erasmus Mundus Crossways in Cultural Narratives

Objective :The Erasmus Mundus Crossways in Cultural Narratives Master's programme is a course entirely devoted to culture, literature, linguistics, history and aesthetics; all classical and contemporary humanities. Selected students will follow a two-year course at 3 of the 12 universities in the consortium. If they are successful, they will be awarded up to three master’s degrees from the partner universities on their mobility programme.

AFRIDI - Support for Training, Research and Innovation for Intra-African Development

Objectives : Mobility programme for excellence at master's, PhD and university staff level, to harmonise the higher education system and strengthen partnerships between African partners. Against a backdrop of climate change, the project focuses on 25 eligible courses (16 masters and 9 PhDs) in 2 fields: natural sciences and environmental sciences, for the organisation of 76 mobility schemes (42 masters, 22 PhDs, 12 staff).
